Privy Council Approves Scottish UPC Order
The Privy Council has, on the 13th of December, approved the draft Scottish Order giving privileges and immunities to the Unified Patent Court and its staff.
The Scottish Parliament approved the draft Order late October. The approval by the Privy Council was the last step needed to pass the order.
The London version of the Order was just approved by the House of Lords on the 6th of December. This draft Order will come in front of the Privy Council early 2018. Once both Orders are approved the UK is officially ready to ratify the UPC Agreement.
